Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters to Join Mick Jagger on “Saturday Night Live”…
This season of “Saturday Night Live” will close out with a bang on May 19. The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger will both host and perform. Entertainment Weekly reports that Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters will serve as Jagger’s backing band.

Rihanna Set For ‘American Idol’ Finale Performance…
If finding out the winner of Season 11 wasn’t enough excitement for “American Idol” fans, the competition’s May 23 finale will feature a special performance from none other than Rihanna.
The Barbadian pop star will perform “Where Have You Been,” her fifth single from Talk That Talk which re-entered the Hot 100 at No. 78 last week. Rihanna performed on the singing competition’s ninth and 10th season as well, and recently performed “Where Have You Been” and “Birthday Cake” on Saturday Night Live. (Read More at Billboard…)

Rihanna didn’t do any acting on “Saturday Night Live,” but she did plenty of performing. The singer brought elaborate sets, costumes and lighting to her musical performances, and gave the audience one of the strongest visual spectacles of the “SNL” season.

Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ Roars to No. 1 on Hot 100…
Fueled by a “Glee” remake and his appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” Gotye scores his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with his first entry on the songs chart, as “Somebody That I Used to Know,” featuring Kimbra, lifts 2-1.
With the “Glee” cast having performed its version of the song on the Fox series’ April 10 episode and Gotye and Kimbra having sung “Somebody” on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on April 14, the track sold 542,000 downloads in the April 9-15 tracking period, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Simon Cowell’s Label Sued Over One Direction’s Name…
One Direction is one of the hottest boy bands in years, formed by Simon Cowell after the bands’ members finished strongly on the seventh season of “The X Factor” in the U.K. The group’s debut album recently topped the U.S. chart, and it had a successful performance on “Saturday Night Live.” The band’s arrival is being hailed as the new “British Invasion.”
