Kanye West Forced to Address Ridiculousness of Ridiculous Kim Kardashian Rumor…

"Come on now, that doesn’t even sound like me."

Kanye West is best known for making public proclamations on telethons and awards show stages, but the 34-year-old rapper was forced to respond to a recent outrage in a fairly conventional manner — he issued a statement to Us Weekly, the publication that originally ran a story in which a source said West referred to rumored girlfriend Kim Kardashian as “his Beyoncé.”

"Of course there are a lot of media inaccuracies surrounding this past couple of weeks, especially the ‘She’s my Beyoncé’ quote," West told the magazine. "I would never compare anyone to my friend’s wife. Come on now, that doesn’t even sound like me. If I don’t say something in a rap or on Twitter, it’s not true." (Read More at Spin…)

Diggy Simmons Fires Shots At J. Cole, Defends Sister Vanessa On ‘What You Say To Me’…

Guess when it comes to Diggy Simmons’ rap career fans will have to continually expect the unexpected. Lees than two weeks after the Son of Rev. Run dropped his debut Unexpected Arrival, young Diggy sent a few shots J. Cole’s way on “What You Say To Me,” a surprising dis track that made it’s way onto the Internet Sunday morning. Apparently the 17-year old Simmons has taken exception to a few of Cole’s lyrics, specifically the second verse on the Roc Nation MC’s “Purple Rain.”

On the 2010 track Jermaine describes a sexual tryst with a preacher’s daughter, widely speculated to be in reference to Digg’s sister Vanessa Simmons. (Read More HERE…)

Iggy Azalea Clears Up ‘Runaway Slavemaster’ Lyric: ‘It Was A Tacky And Careless Thing To Say’…

Is Iggy Azalea racist?

Probably not but that has been the pending question ever since she became the first [female] rapper to appear on XXL’s Freshman Class cover which made her competitor, harlem-bred Azaelia Banks, blast Iggy for a questionable lyric in one of her records. In the song titled ‘D.R.U.G.S’ Iggy spit the following lines:

Tire marks, tire marks, finish line with the fire marks
When it really starts I’m a runaway slave…master

It doesn’t really help that Iggy Azalea had never clarified the lyrics in her interviews even after Azealia contined to raise havoc over an urban rap publication’s decision to put a ‘white rapper’ who calls herself a ‘runaway slavemaster’ on their cover. Thankfully, Blogger Miss Jia reached out to Iggy to clarify what she meant by the lyrics and Iggy not only wrote up an explanation but also an apology for anyone who could have taken the lyrics out of context. She writes: (Read More HERE…)
