Iggy Pop and Best Coast Team Up for “True Blood”Collaborate on a song called “Let’s Boot and Rally”…

"True Blood", the HBO vampire drama that previously featured a collaboration between Neko Case and Nick Cave, is about to get another awesome collaborative duet. Iggy Pop and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino are teaming up for a song called "Let’s Boot and Rally", which will be featured in the show’s July 8 episode.

The song will premiere July 5 on KCRW. A press release features quotes from each of them.

Iggy Pop:

"I’ve always liked to bite. I guess this makes me a singing vampire, does this mean I have a license to suck? Hi Bethany…"

Bethany Cosentino:
